Come on out today to lend a hand with our community garden or just stop by to say 'hi' and check it out! [Directions: from Hwy 11, take Valley Drive into the neighborhood and take the first left onto Dogwood Drive straight into the park.]
Message from Frank Hamby, neighborhood president:
MLKJ Day of Service. Do your part. Thanks to all my friends and neighbors, the City of Birmingham, Alabama, Honda of Alabama, Hands on Birmingham, the Bloomberg Foundation, Magic City Gardening, and Ruffner Mountain Nature Preserve for your help with our community development. Our Ruffner Valley Farm and Gardens would not be possible without your commitment and service. A huge thanks to Robbie Pine, Matt Burke, Arthur Phillips, Chuck Tucker, and Katrina Turnbach.
