Welcome to the neighborhood!
The Roebuck Springs Neighborhood is a beautiful and vibrant place to live. Nestled in rolling hills and picturesque valleys and framed by the natural and historic majesty of Ruffner Mountain and the spring fed headwaters of its namesake, Roebuck Springs, longtime residents and new neighbors alike believe it’s the best value in the city.
Our neighborhood is conveniently located next to parks, bird sanctuaries, wildlife refuges, good schools, shopping, restaurants, a diverse community of faith-based and non profit organizations, and two of Alabama’s economic engines, UAB (University of Alabama at Birmingham) and the City of Birmingham.
We are a multicultural and welcoming community of families and friends working together to help improve our neighborhood, community, and the city of Birmingham so all area residents can enjoy the highest quality of life possible.
A portion of our neighborhood has been designated as a National Historic District. The Roebuck Springs Historic Preservation Society (http://www.roebucksprings.org/) petitioned the National Register of Historic Places, and The Roebuck Springs Historic District was established in 1999. Classic turn of the century homes and old growth oaks are characteristic along the Valley Lake and Ridge Top areas.
We welcome and encourage you to come visit our neighborhood and share in its natural beauty and the warmth offered from friendly neighbors. If you are relocating to the Birmingham area, our neighborhood property values are hard to beat.
